Do you enjoy mysteries and TV shows like Bones and CSI? Do you ever wonder about the work done at the Freeman Ranch off RR 12? Visitors are NEVER permitted at Freeman Ranch, but we are invited to have a special tour of the Texas State University Forensic Anthropology Center. Our visit will include a basic overview talk on forensic anthropology and a tour of the well equipped indoor skeletal laboratory. Housed in a lovely, bright facility conveniently off campus on Old RR 12. We will be just three minutes from Wake the Dead Coffee Shop where you can enjoy an optional coffee break and/or snack. Attendees must be 18 years and older due to university requirements.
