In the late 1800's and early 1900's, the Czech and German immigrants to Central Texas built their beloved new churches to remind them of the ancient Gothic structures they'd left behind in their homelands. These early settlers lovingly painted the walls, altars and arches of their simple wooden sanctuaries in colorful patterns and tromp l'oeil making them treasured masterpieces.
Participants are responsible for lunch at the Garden Company Marketplace and Cafe, known for excellent meals, charming atmosphere and gorgeous gardens offering a nice stroll around the garden center afterwards. Opportunity to purchase gifts and herbs.
