Date: Thursday, March 7, 2024
Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Schulenburg, Texas
Join us for a fun day trip with friends to enjoy an expert-led tour of the magnificent churches of Schulenberg built by Czech and German immigrants to Central Texas in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. While looking unremarkable on the outside, they’re filled with wood painted masterpieces. You’ll be amazed at these churches built to remind them of their beloved Gothic structures they’d left behind in their homelands. Participants are responsible for lunch at the Garden Company Marketplace and Café, known for excellent meals, charming atmosphere and gorgeous gardens. All transportation, entrance fees, and expert guided tour included. Meet at the Wimberley Chamber Office at 8AM. The van will leave promptly at 8:15 AM. If you are late, you will miss the trip. Hosted by Cynthia Marion of Travelphile Tours.
Limited to 10 travelers.
